What Is Financial Destination – Financial Freedom Paired Missing A Key Ingredient ?

By Legitimate Home Based Business On July 2, 2009 No Comments

So what exactly is FDi , and what exactly is the missing ingredient to building a successful business from the comfort of your office?

Before we venture in that important question lets go ahead and get the basics to this unique company.

FDi stands for Financial Destination Inc and is a privately held corporation founded in June 2003 by William Andreoli. Headquarters are located in Windham, New Hampshire which is only 30 miles from Boston, Massachusetts.

Services:

Financial Concierge Services Include:

EquityTrax, CreditTrax, MoneyTrax, First Class Retirement, First Class Family Legal, Dental, Vision, First Class Travel, LifeLock , Discount Pharmacy

Personal Concierge Service:

Anything from Dinner Reservations to helping your child with homework now Everyone can have a Personal Assistant. First and only VIP personal and financial concierge company and it’s free with membership!

So with so many benefits and features, what about the feature and benefits for building a business…. Online?

Like so many other successful network marketing companies, FDi fails to properly teach the representative on HOW to properly promote your own business online. Delivering a company replicated website is NOT an Internet Marketing plan.

A solid Internet marketing plan should consist at a bare minimum of educating the home business owner on HOW to properly build their own business online using techniques like blogging, ppc, Facebook/myspace, twitter, and many others. Of course to No fault of Financial Destination Inc to NOT teach this because when there are so many distributors running around there is bound to be a lawsuit waiting to happen when those new to the business over promise or start breaking rules they are unaware of.

So to protect their business from new reps or those with low moral values, FDi has no choice but to NOT teach these types of marketing techniques.

This is where a Financial Destination Inc savvy enough to understand the power of the Internet plays a hand. Those with the foresight to educate themselves on correctly promoting their home business online will have an audience that is essentially millions more than their own personal social circle of influence.

There is the correct way to building a Financial Destination business without chasing leads or prospects.

Home based business with Adult Only Emphasis?

I have heard and now am researching for an Adult Only Emphasis based home business. What are my options?

Do You Have What It Takes To Succeed In Direct Sales?

By Legitimate Home Based Business On July 2, 2009 No Comments

Do You Have What It Takes To Succeed In Direct Sales?

You’re so excited. You just had an awesome party for your favorite skin care or home décor products and your consultant knows you’d be perfect at being a consultant too. After all you just had the best show she’s had in 6 months. That must mean you’re cut out to do direct sales, right? Well… maybe.

Before you go diving into joining a direct sales company, there are a few things you need to ask yourself. You’ll then find out if you are ready to make direct sales a way of life and really make a successful career out of it. After all, you wouldn’t want to invest in something that isn’t right for you, right?

Sit down with a pen and paper. Jot each of the following questions down. Then, think about the honest answer for each one. The answers should be true for where you are right now in life and your current situation.

I’m not trying to discourage you from starting a career as a direct sales consultant. I’m trying to help you see the areas you may need to work on while building your career and help you avoid a possible costly mistake. Believe me. I’ve made them and I hate to see others do the same when it could be avoided altogether. What should you ask yourself before making the jump into direct sales?

1. Do I have the time, right now in my schedule needed to work and build my business? I know too many times a recruiter will tell you they only work a couple of hours a week and make hundreds of dollars. While their actual shows or parties may only take a couple of hours a week, you must consider the set up time, the bookkeeping time, driving time, organization time, meeting time, etc.

When you account for all of those things that are necessary to make a direct sales business opportunity successful, do you, right now, have the time for that? Do you work another job full time or part time? Do you have a family that obviously requires nurturing and caring for? Do you attend church regularly or belong to other organizations that take up some of your time? Okay, that’s more than one question, but you need to consider all of these things when accounting for what free time you have available.

2. Do I absolutely LOVE the products I will be selling? Are you 100% sold out? Do you already tell your friends and family about it and essentially “sell” them on it? One of my biggest pet peeves is to have a consultant who really isn’t sure about the product themselves. Maybe they got in because of the lure of working only a couple of hours a week and making a ton of money doing so. Perhaps they were looking for a way to make more money and their recruiter made it so appealing to them by saying, “This product will sell itself, you don’t even have to try. Once a person tries it or sees it, they will buy it”.

I know I’ve fallen for those words myself. You must truly know your product and love it. I can’t sell something I don’t love. I just don’t feel right about it. It’s like I’m lying. I know I don’t LOVE every single product I’ve sold for a particular company, but I loved the main product or the products that were right for me (i.e. my skin type), but you must love the products you are using, and you should use them yourself.

3. Am I driven and motivated? Do you have the desire deep in your heart to really work your business? Are you a goal setter and strive to always reach your goals when you set them? I believe that in order to be successful at anything, you must have a long term goal and short term goals that will help get to your long term goal.

Is the nice car your long term goal? What do you have to do to earn it? Earn x amount of sales or recruit x amount of people? What are you going to do to get your first recruit, your second and so on? How are you going to motivate your down line to success? How many shows do you have to hold a week to reach the ultimate dollar amount in sales to earn the car? Are you ready and motivated to do this? Is it your desire to be able to quit your job and work from home full time in direct sales? Then you’re going to have to work twice as hard. You’ll need to work your full time job and work your direct sales business in the evenings or on weekends until you can afford to leave your current job.

4. Can I speak to a group of people? Do you have the ability to talk in front of a group of people? If you are shy and timid, certainly you can overcome shyness, but if you have trouble standing in front of a group and speaking, how are you going to hold shows, parties and presentations?

You will want to work on overcoming your shyness before diving into a network marketing opportunity. You can practice by holding shows for your close friends and family, which is where you usually start anyway. Another way to help you overcome shyness is by reading books about building your confidence or public speaking.

Once you sit down with and ask yourself these questions and answer them honestly, you will know whether you have what it takes to be a success in direct sales. As you answer them, you may find you are qualified in some areas, but not all. If this is the case, then maybe you do have what it takes to be successful at starting a direct sales business, while working on one or two of the other areas to give your business the kick it really needs to be a success.

Be honest with yourself, determine which characteristics you already possess and determine which ones you need to work on and go from there. And don’t let a recruiter convince you otherwise. Sit down with your hubby or best friend and ask them how they would answer these questions about you. You don’t have to make a decision on the spot and a good recruiter will give you the time you need to really consider these things. A good recruiter will want you to succeed because it will help them be more successful as well

How To Build Links Effectively

By Legitimate Home Based Business On July 2, 2009 No Comments

If you enjoy this article and would like to read more like it feel free at internet marketing
As someone new joins the online business community they soon realize that great content is not the only way to get noticed. They must first build up hyperlinks pointing to their website from somewhere else and when someone new begins searching to find the best place to gain backlinks they occasionally get caught up in some of the “bad areas” online which leads to either getting banned by Google or at the very least dropped deep in the SERPs (search engine ranking pages) where the rest of websites who have either broken the rules or have done very little marketing. To stay away from the depths where no one will find your site when searching on Google you must gain your backlinks from reputable sources and realize that if your are trying to learn how to make money online it will not happen overnight.

The first place I recommend to for anyone trying to find backlinks is the big article directories. My personal favorites are ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, and articlesbase.com all of which allow for republication of the articles that you write as long as you keep some rights which include the links that you place either within your article or the ones in your author’s bio remain active and intact when the article is republished. Now there are websites out there and my favorite being the free traffic system that will take your article and publish it on thirty different blogs which you feel is within the same niche leading to many different articles. If you would like to use this system all you need to do is type free traffic system into your google query and it will bring the website up. One thing to remember when article writing is keeping the amount of directories that you a single article to a minimum. It is much better to have thousands of unique articles rather than having thousands of the same copy.

Article writing should not be the only place which you seek out links personally I really enjoy forum posting when attempting to find backlinks. The forums which I really like are v7n forums and digital point forums both of which you can find with a Google search. When you begin on the forum they will not allow you to place links within your signature v7n requiring 50 posts before they allow links and digital point requiring 10. It is also important to note that if your only intent is to gain backlinks you probably will not feel very welcome in the forum. The webmasters that participate within the forums are very seasoned and can pick out the people that are interested in building links from the people that are interested in communicating and participating within the forums. So if you plan on being a success online then I highly recommend using these forums and when doing so participating within the discussions rather than trying to gain a few thousand backlinks from them.

The last place to acquire good quality backlinks is Google’s knol, hub pages, and suido lenses all three of which allow you to build your own page. Using these are a bit tricky since you will need to get them some authority by building backlinks towards them. For example I have a site and two blogs all of which are PR 2 I also have many squido lenses, hub pages, and knols all of which from time to time I try to build backlinks for by placing them in directories, social bookmarking, and others. You should really try an create the biggest web possible and rather than just build links to one of your web presences try and build them to everything presence you own so you will have authority in many areas. Then when you want to start a new blog or website you will have many high PR one way links which you can link to it.

Why Use Forums To Advertise?

By Legitimate Home Based Business On July 2, 2009 No Comments

From my own experience I have found advertising in forums to be one of the most effective and affordable advertising methods on that there is.

Few people realize how much of a huge marketing tool forums are. If done properly you’ll be able to find a huge audience and brand yourself and bring targeted traffic to your site.

Simply put. The more content or posts that are on a forum the more it gets spidered by the search engines. This of course means your ad and url being seen. So the search engines pick up another link pointing to your website. Also it lists the forum pages, thus increasing your chances of being noticed indirectly via your forum post.

Even if no one on the forum ever reads your post/ad, the search engines will always see it. And it’s permanent.

I am not telling anyone to go to just any forum and start posting their urls all over the place. This is just going to make people angry and ruin your reputation. I am suggesting joining the forums that are right for you and your industry, and actively taking part in the discussions. This will get you noticed and because you are being a productive member of the forum people will be interested in what you are doing and what you have to say.

Where is your backlink then? Well, it’s in your signature at the forums. Because you are being active and productive people will take a look all on their own. No spamming needed. And the search engine spiders will always notice your link.

In alot of webmaster forum you will also find business directories or something similar. You can find all kinds of resources in these too. People looking for link trades, offering one way link, or asking for one way links. As well as many other products and services. You can find alot in these directories if you take the time to look around.

There are forums out there where you can post your ads all you want to. Do a google search for “free advertising forums” and you should find about 3 to 4 pages of them listed. They are all free to use and join, and all spidered by search engines. They are an easy way to get tons of free backlinks.

A good place to start is Aztek Marketings Free Advertising Forum. Join and post for free. It’s a new forum. But has alot of potential.

Even with all these methods listed above the fact remains that the importance of the quality of your website is very important. Make sure you have good content and a reason for people to want to come back to your website. If you have a great website with great content, people will more than likely approach you for link trades or even link to you on their own.

start your very own people search engine

By Jason Fulton On July 2, 2009 No Comments

There are many ways to make money online these days. I want to talk about affiliate programs, well actually two programs that happen to work great together. They are the Acme People Search Engine along with Global Domains International or GDI for short.

Lets start with the people search engine. On its own it’s a fantastic money maker. Mainly because people search is such huge business. A third of all searches on Google and Yahoo are people search related. There are several revenue Streams including Clickbank, HD Publishing, and Reunion.com associated with this search engine. And this is just the beginning. This Program was created by a very smart man named Tissa Godavitarne.

Now lets talk about Global Domains International. GDI is actually a MLM or Multi Level Marketing Affiliate Program. Their product is Domain Names and Hosting which is only $10 per month with no setup fees.

Now this is the way it all works. As I said at the beginning, this is an affiliate program or opportunity. Once a person joins for free there is a three step setup process.

1, Affiliatize: This consist of joining Clickbank, HD Publishing, and Reunion.com then entering the Affiliate IDs in their appropriate spaces.

2, Monetize: This is where you’d join GDI and register a Domain Name for your search engine.

3, Advertise: This is where you’d set up advertising for the search engine with Tissa. The cost is $29 per month. However, you don’t start paying until you’ve reached at least $125.00 in commissions. You cant lose!

The real money will come when you refer others to this great program. Tissa will pay you Referral Fees whenever you refer Qualified Users who Affiliatize, Monetize, or Advertise their own niche search engines. If a referral maintains Step 1 for at least 30 days, he’ll pay you $5.00. If your referral maintains Step 2 for at least 45 days, he’ll pay you another $10.00. And if that referral maintains Step 3 for at least 65 days, he’ll pay you ANOTHER $15.00. That’s up to $30.00 per referral from me – PLUS a residual income stream from GDI!

GDI will pay $100.00 for every 5 referrals in a given week plus $1.00 per referral for five levels deep and infinitely wide for as long as they stay active. Many people are making several thousand dollars each and every month from using these programs and yes my business is growing very nicely if I do say so myself, and I do!

The Success of Your Home Based Business Depends on This Important Yet Often Overlooked Secret

By Jason Fulton On July 2, 2009 No Comments

DEFINITION:   Mindset – A fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person’s responses to and interpretations of situations.

Everyone involved in a home based business comes across situations everyday that will challenge their mindset.  How you respond to those situations will determine your success or failure in your home based business.  If you have the proper mindset you will see a setback as a learning experience and move on.  If your mindset is fragile then you will see challenges as failures and eventually give up.

Don’t make the mistake of underestimating the power of your mindset.  Ninety-seven percent of people that start a home based business will fail.  Do you think that with those statistics you can afford to overlook any tools for success?!  Keep in mind that even if you have all of the marketing resources and advertising money in the world  when it comes down to a struggle in building your business it will be your mindset that makes or breaks the day.

The most successful people in the world, from Oprah to Trump, attribute their success to their mindset.

The first thing you must do to start opening yourself up to a successful mindset is to remember you are not alone.   When you come up against a roadblock remember that every one of the now successful work at home entrepreneurs faced those same roadblocks.  No one is immune to setbacks or failures when they are building a business, it simply comes with the territory.  You should realize that even if you do everything right and don’t get results it does not mean that they will never come.  Get back up on your feet, do everything right again and again and again and you will succeed.

Remember – Winning is no more than this:  To Rise Each Time You Fall.

5 Mistakes That Will Kill Your Network Marketing Business

By Legitimate Home Based Business On July 2, 2009 No Comments

Starting a home business through network marketing can be rewarding and fun. Having control over your work schedule, not having a boss to answer to (unless you have a wife…lol), and doing something you really enjoy are all great incentives to work from home.

But being your own boss takes a lot of work, discipline, and patience. In this article we’ll cover five mistakes you definitely don’t want to make if you want to continue working from home.

1. Not taking it seriously – it’s easy to get started in network marketing. You simply choose a company (hopefully after doing some research), pay the required fee (all legitimate network marketing businesses will require a fee), and you’re ready to go.

No experience needed.

Because of the ease of entry most people find it difficult to take their business seriously. They’re often lured in by overzealous representatives promising huge rewards for minimal effort.

It’s an enticing offer for a better quality life but not a very accurate one. Success takes time, discipline, and effort.

You have to be disciplined enough to dedicate yourself to doing what has to be done rather than what you’d like to be doing. This means turning off the television during the day, putting off running errands until your work is done, not taking a nap…you get the idea. Treat it like a business and it will pay you like a business, treat it like a hobby and it will cost you like a hobby.

It’s just as important however, to reward yourself when completing a task as it is actually performing it. Giving yourself an incentive for completing a task is often motivation enough to do it.

2. Neglecting Personal Development – most people aren’t mentally prepared for the adversity they’ll face when they try to build their business. If you want to grow into the leader you were meant to be you’ll need to learn to discipline your disappointments.

Friends and family that aren’t supportive, prospects who say they’re interested in your business but don’t show up for your meeting, and team members who quit are just a few of the disappointments every network marketer faces at some point. How you respond to those disappointments will determine the type of leader you will become.

The foundation of success is found in your mind. You must initiate a paradigm shift in your thinking that will help you create new habits and behaviors and there are several easy ways to do that:

• Start associating with positive, successful people
• Read 10-20 pages of positive, inspirational material every day
• Listen to 15-30 minutes of positive, uplifting audio each day

Developing into a leader takes time but it’s necessary if you’re going to lead your organization. Others will be looking to you for guidance and direction and if you’re not able to provide what they need they’ll look elsewhere for it.

3. Expecting overnight riches – we want it all and we want it now. From instant coffee, to instant messages we’ve become a society intolerant of patience.

All too often we impart that same level of impatience to our home business. We want success, riches, and time freedom and we want it now!

It’s not entirely your fault though. With ads such as, “I made $15,000 my first week and you can too!”, or “Easily make $100,000 a year with my proven system!”, it’s easy to see how a person can be lured into thinking the money comes easy.

News Flash! The money doesn’t come easy. Sure, there’s the occasional, rare individual who makes that kind of money but it’s comparable to winning the lottery. The vast majority of the time it simply doesn’t work that way.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and your fortune won’t be either. That’s not to say however that you can’t be successful. Riches can be yours but you must first master discipline and patience.

4. Not having a website – we live in the information age. People now have the ability to research anything they desire simply by going online. That includes your business opportunity. Having a website allows them to connect with you and your home business without making a commitment.

Working from home is no longer limited by geographical location. Through the internet we now have the ability to conduct business globally and there’s no faster way to share your business with the world than through a website.

Having a web presence is also the most affordable way to market your opportunity. Your website is up 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year communicating your message to the world for very little cost.

And finally, your website adds credibility to your business in the eyes of your customers. Even if you’re just starting out, having a website can give your potential prospects the perception that you’re much bigger than you are.

5. No marketing plan – now that you’ve started your home based business how do you plan on getting the word out about it? Many businesses, both traditional and home based, fail due to lack of planning and goal setting.

Simply put, if you don’t have a marketing plan, you don’t have a business. It’s the foundation on which your business is built. It means the difference between success and failure.

A good marketing plan defines your target market and proper execution of the plan allows you to build a list of quality prospects for your business. Without the means to attract a targeted audience you will find it extremely difficult to make a living regardless of the company you represent.

Your marketing plan should also be flexible. Flexibility allows you to keep up with changes in technology, society, fashion, customer and market demands, etc. It’s also a good indicator of whether you’re on target and if you’re capable of reaching your goals. If not, adjust your plan accordingly and if you’re on target or surpassing your goals you can adjust your plan to meet the increased demands on your business.

If you have no idea what it takes to run a home business (which most people don’t so don’t feel bad) then you could benefit from reading this great free guide, A Guide To Working At Home.

In it you’ll discover how to prepare yourself for business ownership, the challenges involved, financing, advice on balancing family and your business, and tons of other great tips.

Stay focused on why you started your business. Distractions will come often and in large numbers. If you’re aware of them it will be easier for you to keep your mind on the task at hand.

Above all have fun and never give up.
