Get Free Backlinks

By Legitimate Home Business On October 16, 2009 Under Building BackLinks
Legitimate Home Based Business

Google: 1000 Free Backlinks (I am number one)

Google: Free Backlinks (very competitive – I am number 5 on the first page)

These are a couple of ways to get backlinks for your website.

1.Forum Signatures

You can join forums and write your website URL in your signature
Anyway be careful, not every forum accepts links in signatures so read the rules of a forum before putting your website URL in your signature

2.Add your site to Free Web Directories

Web Directories are the easiest way to get free backlinks. The only thing you have to do is to add your site to the correct category
For fast form filling you can use a tool called InFormEnter

Crowd Mountain

3.Writing Articles to get Free Backlinks

You can also write and submit articles. The terms of someone using your material includes full credit of authorship including a link back to your own site.

Writing is not for everyone and may be more time-consuming than the other tips mentioned here. The benefit of getting your work on someone else’s site should drive traffic to you and enhance your reputation as an expert.

Publish on quality sites. Avoid scraper sites based on Adsense and affiliate revenue. Be as on-topic as possible.

4.Blog & Social Media

Create a blog of your own. What better way would you have to present your good content to potential linkers than posting it in your blog? It is important that you create a blog as a part of your domain, i.e, if your domain is http://www.example.com/, you can have a blog as http://www.example.com/blog . This helps to transfer the power of the free back links that you get in your blog to the main domain also.

Create good content on your blog and submit them to the social media websites like Digg, Del.icio.us, Reddit etc. If your content is really good, you are sure to get a host of Free back links.

5.Website Review

There are various websites and forums that conducts review of website/product/services. Submit your website to these and with each review you are sure to get at least one free back link. ( Drawback: if your product/service quality is bad you might get some negative review which in turn can affect your business)

In my experiments with building high Page Rank mini-sites I simply did not have the budget to go and buy $1000 worth of links. Instead, I used as many tools as I can get my hands on to help me automate as much of the process as possible. I’ve now narrowed it down to 7 sources that gets me tons of high quality and relevant links. It takes me about 15 minutes a day per site and that’s it.

It’s important not to lose sight of what back links are really about. It’s simply a way for Google to determine how ‘important’ your site is. When it comes to Page Rank there are 3 aspects that determines it’s value:

1. Quality

The higher the PR of the page linking to you, the more valuable it is to your PR

2. Relevancy

The more relevant and ‘on topic’ the site linking to you is, the more valuable the links will be to your PR

3. Quantity

The more links you get, the more ‘authoritative’ Google will see your site. Be careful with quantity though as it can work against you.

If you combine these 3 factors you can have a very powerful formula for building free back links. If you can find sites with a high PR, in your niche and find a lot of them you can increase your Page Rank faster than anything else. And it will be free.

So, the short answer is ‘yes’ you can still get to PR5 by getting only free backlinks, but you will need to be consistent in your link building. The Linkbuilding Blueprint is just that. I use it every day to help me follow a no-brainer formula. In the end getting a high page rank boils down to the marketer who is the most consistent and persistent in building links every day
