In the network marketing industry you hear alot about phone MLM scripts and exactly what to say to a new prospect as you are approaching them. However, there is one core fundamental truth those that recommend these things to you will never tell you.

These MLM script for phone calls never work. Really, they never do. If you are still cold calling leads, really what its all about is not what you say, but how you say it.

Using an MLM script makes you sound too much like a robot and telemarketer, really. Now think about it, how many times have you hung up on a telemarketer the instant you hear a mechanical monotone voice on the other end? Much more often than not.

You see, with MLM scripts, the whole personal dynamic behind the conversation is reversed. Isn’t what you have supposed to be an exceptional opportunity? Well really you need to act like it.

Toss the MLM script aside and interview the person. Do they even qualify for your time?

Exude an aura of confidence in what you are talking about, and toss aside the MLM script. Just go ask the person what they are looking for, interview them, and see if they even are worth your time on the phone, let alone to join your organization.

Once you get exclusive in the way you talk on the phone, you will have no need for MLM scripts again. Be selective, pick who you want, and toss aside the rest. More than likely they aren’t even serious about building a business and are just tire kickers.

However, a great alternative is this. Why not generate the leads yourself and have them calling you instead of using MLM scripts and cold calling. Really a far far more effective way of doing business.

That way you have total power in the conversation, not them.
